MAYA LANE

 

Maya Lane is a singer-songwriter from London. She is emotionally mature beyond her years and a natural storyteller. Her Pop Country/Folk style draws influences from the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Kacey Musgraves, HAIM and Joni Mitchell.

Her second EP "Diary Of An Overthinker" was released in May and sits on almost half a million streams. The singles from the EP have picked up editorial playlists on Spotify including Chilled Pop Hits and Fresh Finds UK and IE and on Apple Music including New In Pop, New Music Daily and Today's Country.

Her latest single "Heart For A Heart" has been played 3 times by Mollie King on Radio 1's Future Pop show which follows the 3 plays her previous single "Bump Into Me" received on the same show.

Maya has received support from blogs and national newspapers such as Wonderland, Clash, Notion, The Line of Best Fit, The Independent, The Daily Star and The Sunday Mirror. Maya recently made the longlist for the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition 2024 and supported Far From Saints on their UK tour playing to sold out 2-3k capacity venues across the country. She is also supporting US artist Alyssa Bonaguru on her UK tour in June.

She is currently writing and recording with the likes of Wayne Hector (Tate Mcrae, Birdy), Rob Milton (Holly Humberstone, The 1975), Jonathan Quarmby (Tom Walker, Lewis Capaldi), Jonny Lattimer (Ellie Goulding, Anne Marie) and Hayley Gene Penner (The Chicks, Lennon Stella).
