DJ CHILLZ

If you haven’t yet heard of Chillz, it’s just a matter of time. She’s a fully switched on DJ and producer with a plan, which is quickly coming to fruition as she purposefully brings a fresh twist to everything she plays whether it’s on her radio show ‘ The Music Without A Pause Show’ , her ‘Afrobeats’ podcast for Radar Radio or her live sets which unify crowds into near states of nirvana. Regularly playing out at festivals like Wireless, Outlook and Boom Bap, through to streetwear fashion events like New Balance X Heidi Klum, Chillz also has residencies across London at Bootylicious and her own Weekly Friday event Riddim Nights in Croydon.

Her love for music is relentless and her passion for blending Afrobeats and Bashment with Hip Hop, RnB, Dancehall and House have led to her being nominated for three Best Female DJ Awards over the last few years. She explains, “It’s not just my love for music, it’s my passion. I eat, breathe, dream music. That is why it goes beyond liking, and beyond a hobby. Music is my way of living. Music is vital to my life.”

Chillz has so naturally progressed to the studio, where she has shown to have a deft touch as producer with debut single ‘Power’ tearing through clubland earlier this year. Along with remixes or refixes for the latest bangers she enjoys putting her own twist, ensuring Armin Van Buren’s, “Don’t be a prisoner of your own style” is implored in all she does. Carving out her own genre, Chillz follows up her previous single with another dance floor ready house track with undertones of her African roots. Her new single ‘Hide It’ brings a refreshing and uplifting vocal that is guaranteed to have you singing whilst shaking a leg.

Vivienne Chi

Vivienne Chi is a London-based, independent artist who best describes her sound as Alt-Pop. Her evolving catalogue of work combines decades of influences resulting in an electro-infused blend of folk and soul that is emotive, sultry and somewhat haunting.

Born in Bristol and brought up in Spain, she found her voice practicing to the likes of En Vogue, Portishead, Massive Attack, Kate Bush, Eva Cassidy, Prince & D’Angelo. She started performing at 8 years old and recording her own songs at 11.  Her upbringing in Andalusia, Spain was wild and carefree but lacked a platform to grow musically, so at 18 she moved to London to pursue a full-time music career. She quickly became entrenched in the city’s live

music scene performing regularly at jam nights where she met the musicians and producers she works with today.  Experimenting with ideas and genres in sessions writing for other original projects lead her to eventually develop her own unique sound.

Produced by her long-term producer Harry Tarlton (Sonny, Tom Misch), her songs are a catalogue of carefully sculpted lyrics and melody touching on escapism, belonging, heartache & the darker sides of London’s excessive lifestyle.  “This has not been a 5 minute joy ride into music,” she says of her journey. “Having to struggle helped me focus on what I truly wanted to say artistically.”

Vivienne Chi is an artist that has seen expansive tastemaker support and connected with hundreds of thousands of listeners worldwide. 2017 was an incredibly exciting year, self-titled first release 'Vivienne' caused a stir on social platforms, next single 'Junk' was quick to amass tastemaker attention from The Line of Best Fit, Clash Magazine, BBC Introducing, Spotify playlists, then leading to the track topping the Hype Machine charts at #1 position.
